How to sign up for ClubGG

ClubGG doesn't publish a step-by-step sign-up guide. The steps below are the flow described by third-party guides such as PokerListings, so go by the button names your app actually shows:

1. Open the app and tap “Sign Up Now”. You'll find it on the login screen. If you already have a GGPoker / GG Pass account, just log in instead.
2. Choose your country. Pick where you really live. The Terms let ClubGG ask for proof of residence at any time, and a mismatch will cause trouble when you claim a prize.
3. Enter your email. Use one you'll keep. The Terms tie your account to your registration email, and later checks depend on it.
4. Enter the verification code. Check your inbox and type the code into the app. Nothing arrived? Look in your spam folder.
5. Set a password. Don't reuse one from another site: your GG Pass works across several GG products.
6. Choose a nickname and avatar. Third-party guides say you pick these at first login. Official rules on nickname length or changes haven't been published; the Terms forbid usernames, display names and avatars that infringe others' rights.

Do these right after signing up

• Turn on two-factor login: ClubGG added login 2FA in its August 2025 release. It's an extra lock against account theft.
• Find “My GGPass”: the 21 October update renamed the old “My Account” menu to “My GGPass”. Account settings live there.
• Country flag: a flag shows next to your avatar, and you can change it based on your nationality, residence or login IP.

Where you can't sign up

ClubGG's Terms list prohibited jurisdictions that "include, but are not limited to":

Residents of US-embargoed countries or state sponsors of terrorism are also barred. US players must be US citizens or resident aliens with a US address, physically in a state where play isn't restricted. Outside the US, you only need to be a natural person aged 18+ tied to the registration email, but the Terms also say ClubGG makes no promise the software is appropriate or available outside the United States, and using it from abroad is at your own risk.

When ID verification comes in

Just playing club games doesn't require uploading documents at sign-up (that's what third-party sites say; ClubGG doesn't address it separately). Under the Terms, though:

• Claiming a prize (such as a ticket won in a membership event) means submitting a driver's licence, passport or national ID through “Verify ID” in the app. The Terms give the path as My Account > Verify ID, and that menu is now called “My GGPass”.
• ClubGG can ask at any time for proof of your age, identity and residence.

Common sign-up mistakes

• Buying or borrowing an account: "ready-made ClubGG accounts" sold online break the one-account rule, and the original owner can reset the password whenever they like.
• Picking a random country: it has to match where you live, or identity checks won't line up.
• Skipping 2FA: GG Pass covers several GG products, so a stolen login hurts more than just ClubGG.
• Expecting to chat in your own language: the Terms require English in table chat, with trivial exceptions.

After signing up: join or start a club

An account just gets you in the door; the games all live inside clubs. Two ways forward:
