ClubGG vs GGPoker: What's the Difference?
Short answer: ClubGG was created by the GGPoker Network and uses the same GG Pass account, but ClubGG states that the two are “not the same service”. GGPoker is a real-money poker room; ClubGG is a free-play private-club platform where each club runs its own games.

What they share
ClubGG's About Us page is direct about it: ClubGG was created by “the biggest poker network in the world, GGPoker Network”. You can see the shared technology in use:
- The same account system: both use GG Pass. Since October 2026 the ClubGG app's “My Account” menu is called “My GGPass”.
- The same kind of tools: PokerCraft stats, Smart HUD, EV Cashout and Rabbit Hunt all exist on ClubGG.
- A shared tournament clock: the October 2026 update standardised the tournament clock “across GG brands”.
- Shared membership: WSOP+ is shared between WSOP+ and ClubGG under the same GG Pass.
Where they differ
1. How games are organised
On a typical online poker room you pick a table from the site's lobby. On ClubGG you first join a club, and the club sets the tables, stakes and tournaments. One ClubGG account can join many clubs, but each club's chips are separate. How to get in: joining a club.
2. What the money is
Section 7 of ClubGG's Terms of Service is titled “FREE PLAY ONLY”: the site doesn't allow real-money wagering and can't accept deposits, and tournament tickets “have no monetary value”. Club chips are issued by club admins, who ClubGG says can issue them without limit, and they have no cash value either.
So if someone tells you “ClubGG is just GGPoker's club version, you can deposit and withdraw”, that isn't what ClubGG says. Private money arrangements in clubs have nothing to do with ClubGG and come with no protection; see Is ClubGG real money?
3. The game list
People often ask whether ClubGG has Spin & Gold or Rush & Cash. We didn't find them on ClubGG; they're GGPoker products. In the other direction, Cucurucho, added to ClubGG in October 2026, is built for club ring games.
4. The official branding line
ClubGG's guideline for clubs and unions says the two are “not the same service”, that promotion shouldn't imply ClubGG is equivalent to or part of GGPoker, and that clubs shouldn't use the ClubGG or GGPoker brand names in their club names. Be wary of anyone recruiting for an “official GGPoker club”.
