What ClubGG actually is

Think of it as a private home game that lives online. In a regular poker room you get seated with strangers at random. On ClubGG every game belongs to a club: the Club Master decides which tables run, the blinds, the seat count and how tournaments pay out, and members apply to join with the Club ID. Several clubs can band together into a union to share tables and traffic. ClubGG says it has 120+ active unions and 2M+ users.

The software comes from the GGPoker side: PokerCraft hand history stats, Smart HUD, EV Cashout and Rabbit Hunt (see the cards that would have come) all show up in ClubGG. But ClubGG is clear on one point: it is a free-to-play social poker platform and does not offer real-money wagering.

Three things to know up front

ClubGG is a free poker client that only offers play-money games with no monetary value. Its terms don't allow real-money wagering and it doesn't accept deposits.

Anyone who asks you to send money as a “ClubGG agent” or “chip cashier” is not acting for ClubGG, and ClubGG won't step in if it goes wrong. Read the real-money question and safety and scams.

ClubGG is not in the mainland China App Store, and online gambling is illegal in many places, including mainland China. Check where ClubGG is available first.

What is ClubGG?

ClubGG is a poker app built around private clubs. It was created by the GGPoker team and is operated by NSUS Group Inc. You create or join a club and play its cash tables and tournaments. Officially it is a free-to-play social poker platform.

Are ClubGG and GGPoker the same company?

They share a developer and the same GG Pass login, but ClubGG itself says the two are "not the same service": GGPoker is a real-money poker room, ClubGG is a free private-club platform. More in ClubGG vs GGPoker.

Does ClubGG cost money?

Downloading, signing up and joining clubs are free. In the app you can buy Diamonds (from $0.99), club levels and WSOP+ membership ($9.99 or $49.99 a month), but none of them is needed to sit down and play.

Can you play for real money on ClubGG?

The terms say "free play only": ClubGG takes no deposits and club chips have no cash value. Offers to "top up" or "cash out" through an agent are private deals inside some clubs; ClubGG neither runs nor guarantees them, and the risk is high. See Is ClubGG real money?

What languages is ClubGG available in?

When we checked, the App Store listing showed English only, and ClubGG has not published a list of in-app languages. The terms also require English in table chat. This site explains every step in several languages so you know what each button does.
