How to Join a ClubGG Club with a Club ID
All you need to join a ClubGG club is a Club ID: open "Search Club" in the app, enter the ID, read the Club Notice and apply, then wait for the Club Master or a Manager to approve you. Want to try it first? Use the official GGPoker freeroll club, 222222.

Three things you need first
How to join a club, step by step
ClubGG's own GGPoker freeroll page walks through the process:
- Open ClubGG and log in Use your GG Pass account.
- Go to "Search Club" You'll find it in the club section of the app.
- Enter the Club ID Type in the ID you were given. Third-party guides note that some clubs also ask for a Referrer ID; whether it's needed is up to the club.
- Read the Club Notice This is the club's message to its members. Reading it before you apply saves a lot of trouble later.
- Apply and wait The Club Master or an authorised Manager reviews your request. Once approved, you can take a seat.
The interface changes between versions, so buttons may sit in slightly different places. The app store listings show English only, and ClubGG hasn't said whether the app itself offers other languages, so look for the English button names.
Five things to ask before you apply
Private clubs vary a lot. A minute of questions after you get an ID beats leaving a club later:
- What games run, and when? Hold'em, Omaha or Short Deck? Mostly ring games or tournaments? When are the tables busy?
- Is the club in a union? Union clubs share tables with other clubs, so there are more players, and the union sets common rules.
- How do I get chips? Do you ask a Manager, or does a particular agent handle it?
- Any device or location restrictions? Third-party sources say clubs can restrict by IP, GPS and device. If you're blocked, ask an admin.
- Is there any money involved? If anyone mentions transfers, top-ups or "exchanging" chips, don't join. ClubGG's Terms say it is free play only.
Start with the freeroll club
If nobody you know runs a club yet, the official GGPoker crossover freeroll club 222222 is the safest place to start: search the ID, read the notice, register. Note that ClubGG's page says the freeroll is open to GGPoker account holders only, and prizes and schedule follow the club notice. Details: ClubGG freeroll.
Where Club IDs come from
Official sources show no public club directory — you join by searching an ID — so the ID has to come from the club. The usual sources and their risk:
| Source | What to expect | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Friends / your poker group | A club run by people you know, with rules you can talk through face to face | Low |
| Official ClubGG page | GGPoker freeroll club 222222; see freeroll | Low |
| A club's own promotion | ClubGG allows clubs to promote their name, logo and Club ID | Depends on whether money is mentioned |
| "Club lists" on forums and chat groups | Unknown origin, often bundled with deposits, rakeback or agent payments | High |
One more thing: when a club joins a union, its Club ID does not change. If someone says "our club has a new ID, send a payment in the new group to confirm", it's almost certainly a scam.
Why we don't list "clubs to join"
"ClubGG clubs to join" and "best ClubGG clubs" are popular searches, but we deliberately don't publish a club list:
- Fairness, anti-cheating and management are handled club by club, and we can't verify each one.
- Many publicly promoted club lists come from affiliate sites selling games with money attached, which contradicts ClubGG's free-play-only Terms.
- Clubs change rules, admins or shut down at any time, so any list goes stale fast.
The safest route: learn the software in the freeroll club, then join a club run by people you know — or start your own.
Stuck on "pending"?
Requests are reviewed by hand, and ClubGG doesn't publish a review time. Common reasons for a long wait:
| Possible reason | What to do |
|---|---|
| No admin online | Ask the person who gave you the ID to ping an admin |
| Club only takes people it knows | Private clubs often want to know who you are; mention who referred you |
| Referrer ID missing | Check whether one is needed and apply again |
| Club is full | Clubs have a member cap that grows with club level (see creating a club) |
| Wrong Club ID | Double-check the number and that the club name matches |
Approval is the club's decision, so chase the club, not ClubGG support. If anyone asks you to pay before approval, walk away.
How to spot a scam club
ClubGG is a free poker client that only offers poker gameplay with play money that has no monetary value. It doesn't accept deposits, so anyone asking you to send money is not ClubGG.
- They ask for USDT, bank or mobile payments to "top up", "load chips" or pay a "deposit";
- They call themselves an "official ClubGG agent" or "official support", or the club name contains ClubGG / GGPoker (the guideline forbids that);
- They promise guaranteed wins or cash-outs, or pull you into a private chat to "discuss terms";
- They ask for your GG Pass password or login code;
- They sell "assist tools", "see-through hacks" or bots — these break the Terms and are usually scams themselves.
ClubGG bans clubs from promoting real-money gambling and payment methods, and can remove those that do. Private money deals have no protection and are illegal in many places. See real money and safety and scams.
Turn on login two-factor authentication (2FA) and never share codes with an "admin". The Terms also ban collusion, multi-accounting and bots — if you suspect players are working together at your table, keep the hand histories and report it to the club and to ClubGG support.
After you're in
Once approved, request chips at the club's Counter; a Manager or your agent sends them (how it works: agent roles). Those chips work only in that club and have no cash value. For PokerCraft, Smart HUD and other table tools, see ClubGG features.
