How to install ClubGG on a Windows PC
- Go to the official site. Type www.clubgg.com into your browser yourself rather than clicking search ads or "download links" shared in chat groups.
- Open the download page. Click “Download” and find the Windows option. On a desktop browser this button only ever keeps you on clubgg.com; if you land on an unfamiliar domain, close the tab.
- Run the installer. Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts. If Windows shows a security warning, make sure the file really came from clubgg.com a minute ago. Anything from elsewhere, delete it.
- Sign in with GG Pass. Use your existing account, or see Sign up if you don't have one yet. An existing GGPoker account works too.
- Get into your club. Search for your Club ID and apply. The process is in Join a club.
What the desktop client adds
Multi-tabling
The mobile app lets you play 4 games at once; a big screen is where multi-tabling really pays off. ClubGG lists "multi-table on PC/Mac" as a WSOP+ perk: up to 6 tables on Basic ($9.99/month) and 12 on Premium ($49.99/month). How many you get without a membership isn't stated, so check the client itself once it's installed.
Screen Guard
ClubGG's 21 October update added Screen Guard on PC: tables can't be screenshotted or recorded. If you're used to grabbing screenshots of hands, that's by design, not a bug.
Built-in tools
WSOP+ also covers PokerCraft stats, Smart HUD and Rabbit Hunt, all built into ClubGG, so you don't need extra third-party software. Overview: Features.
Is the desktop client right for you?
Pros
- Big screen, easier multi-tabling (up to 12 tables with membership)
- Screen Guard keeps your tables private
- One account across phone and PC, switch any time
Cons
- No published system requirements, so older PCs are trial and error
- Website download only, no app store vetting the file for you
- Table limits are tied to membership; the free limit isn't stated
If you only play a few hands with friends now and then, the phone app is plenty. If you grind tournaments or want several tables, add the PC client. Phone guides: Android and iPhone.
Third-party launchers, multi-instance tools and HUDs
The “ClubGG Desktop Launcher” is not official software. It comes from a third-party developer, ships with tools like DriveHUD 2, and is used to run multiple ClubGG instances on one computer.
ClubGG's Terms forbid accessing the service "by any means other than through the interface that is provided by us", and they ban bots, scripts, macros and multiple accounts. Using third-party launchers, multi-instance tools or automation can get your account closed and your winnings forfeited.
The same goes for anything you find searching "ClubGG hack", "ClubGG bot" or "see-cards tool": it's a scam, malware, or a straight Terms violation. More in Safety & scams.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Try this first |
|---|---|
| Download page is blank, no button | The page runs on JavaScript: try another browser or pause your ad blocker and reload |
| Antivirus blocks the installer | Check the file came from clubgg.com; if it came from anywhere else, delete it and download again from the official site |
| "Not available in your region" at login | ClubGG restricts some locations and we don't offer workarounds; see Regions |
| Install or launch errors | Note the error message and email ClubGG support at support@clubgg.com |
