Three questions before you start

Who will play?Clubs are private. With no members there are no tables, so line up a group of regulars first.
What will you deal?Hold'em, Omaha, Short Deck, tournaments or Cucurucho? Pick your main game.
Who helps you run it?Once the club grows, Managers and agents share the approvals and chip handling.

How to create a club

ClubGG's help center tutorials wouldn't load for us, so button names may differ from what you see in the app. The overall flow:

  1. Download ClubGG and sign up for GG Pass See our download guide and sign-up guide.
  2. Choose to create a club in the club section The creator becomes the Club Master, the highest role in the club.
  3. Pick a name and logo ClubGG's guideline says not to use the ClubGG or GGPoker brand names in your club name, and not to call it "Official".
  4. Write your Club Notice Players read the Club Notice when they apply, so spell out your schedule and rules.
  5. Open tables and tournaments Set them up to your own specifications (options below).
  6. Share your Club ID Friends search the ID under "Search Club" and apply; you or a Manager approve them.

Splitting the work: Managers and agents

The club hierarchy runs Club Master → Club Manager → Super Agent → Agent → Player.

  • Club Managers start with the same permissions as you, except two: they can't request a union and can't disband the club. You can restrict them further.
  • Super Agents and Agents hand chips to their downline from the credits you allocate, and ask for more when they run out. Since August 2026 there are also "Agent Win/Loss Limit" and "Rake Allocation" tools.
  • Each member holds one role at a time, and an agent must clear their downline before changing role.

Agents are just a division of labour inside the club; details in ClubGG agent roles.

Handing out chips with the Counter

You and authorised admins issue club chips without limit, and they have no monetary value; they work only in your club. Everything happens in the Counter:

  • Members send chip requests, and you approve or decline them from the pending list;
  • You can send chips to members or reclaim them, and issue tournament Tickets and Vouchers;
  • The Agent Counter handles agents' credits; the Member Counter handles members' chips;
  • The "Trade Record" keeps a full log for when disputes come up.

Disbanding the club deletes all chips and credits, and only the Club Master can do it.

Club levels and member caps: conflicting prices

Clubs have a member cap, and raising it means upgrading the club level. The trouble is that public sources disagree on price:

SourceWhat it saysConfidence
App Store in-app purchase list"Club Level 1A" $19.99High (official store)
App Store release notes (21 Nov 2025)"Updated Club Level System", no detailsHigh
Old official help article (offline)Free cap of 100 members; Diamonds raise the cap and export club dataLow
ThePokerAgent (third party)Level 1 $50/month for 250 members; Level 2 $100/month for 1,000Low; conflicts with the store price

Our guess: the level system was reworked in late 2025, and the third-party prices may be from the old version. ClubGG hasn't published a full table of levels, caps and prices, so go by what the app shows before you pay. Club level and Diamond purchases were not affected by the October 2026 change to Union Back Office payments.

What Diamonds do for a club

Diamonds are ClubGG's paid currency, priced from $0.99 to $99.99 on the App Store. According to the old help article, Diamonds are used for just two things: raising the member cap and exporting club data — you don't need them to issue chips or open tables. A third-party site says one weekly club data report costs about 560 Diamonds. Both are low-confidence: ClubGG's help center has an article called "Club Administration - Diamonds", but we couldn't read it. More in Diamonds and currencies.

Lines you must not cross

ClubGG is a free poker client that only offers poker gameplay with play money that has no monetary value. ClubGG's guideline requires this statement, in bold, wherever your club's promotional material mentions ClubGG.

Clubs are strictly prohibited from publicly advertising real-money gambling or any payment method (crypto, bank transfer, mobile payment), and violators can be removed. The Terms also ban commercial use, collusion and bots. Turning a club into a money business breaks the Terms and is illegal in many places; see real money on ClubGG.

Growing? Consider a union

When your tables are quiet, you can join or start a union and share tables with other clubs. Only the Club Master can request a union. Keep in mind that joining a union resets the club's gameplay data and reporting; the Club ID stays the same.

FAQ

Is it free to create a ClubGG club?
Third-party guides say any free account can create a club. The paid items are optional: club levels (the App Store lists an in-app purchase "Club Level 1A" at $19.99) and Diamonds.
How many members can a ClubGG club have?
ClubGG hasn't published a current member-cap table. An old official help article, now offline, said the free cap was 100 members and Diamonds raised it; a third-party site says Level 1 allows 250 and Level 2 allows 1,000. ClubGG updated its club level system in November 2025, so check the figures in the app.
How much does a ClubGG club level cost?
The sources disagree. The App Store's in-app purchase list shows "Club Level 1A" at $19.99; the third-party site ThePokerAgent says Level 1 costs $50/month and Level 2 costs $100/month. ClubGG hasn't published a full price list, so go by the price shown in the app before you pay.
How does rake work in a ClubGG club?
Third-party sources say the rake structure is set by each club. Official sources confirm "fees" in the reports and a "Rake Allocation" feature in the agent tools. Club chips have no monetary value, and we don't cover any way of making money from rake.
What happens to chips if a ClubGG club is disbanded?
ClubGG says all chips and credits in the club are deleted when it is disbanded. Only the Club Master can disband a club; Managers can't.
