ClubGG WSOP+ Membership: Basic or Premium?

ClubGG's paid membership is now called WSOP+: Basic costs $9.99 a month and Premium $49.99, bought only inside the app. You don't need it to play in clubs with friends; it's mainly for the WSOP qualifiers and desktop multi-tabling.

Basic vs Premium at a glance

The official membership page shows three tiers. This table covers only what applies to ClubGG:

FeatureFreeWSOP+ BasicWSOP+ Premium
Monthly price$0$9.99$49.99
Play in clubs with friends✅✅✅
Stage 1 access—Once per dayUnlimited
Final Stage re-entry——✅
Multi-table on PC / Mac—Up to 6 tablesUp to 12 tables
PokerCraft, Smart HUD, Rabbit Hunt, Splash, Card Squeeze—✅✅
Road to WSOP Circuit qualifiers—✅✅

The FAQ also mentions “over $200,000 worth of ticket prizes every month”, priority table access and loyalty bonuses, and selected events have Bubble Protection. The same membership includes WSOP Academy training and perks in the WSOP LIVE app, which you use outside ClubGG.

On mobile, the app description allows 4 tables at once. The 6 and 12 table limits on the membership page apply to desktop.

Buying and managing it

  1. In-app purchase only. The website doesn't sell membership. Open the ClubGG app and choose a plan on the membership page.
  2. One GG Pass, both apps. Whether you buy through WSOP+ or ClubGG, you get the same benefits as long as you sign in with the same GG Pass.
  3. Auto-renewal. It renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel.
  4. Where to cancel. Cancel Apple or Google subscriptions in your phone's subscription settings; manage in-app purchases from the membership page or account settings. Benefits last until the end of the period.

Refunds: two official positions

Terms of Service §9(b) states in capitals that WSOP+ Premium memberships are not refundable. The membership FAQ is softer: refund eligibility “may vary” by platform and billing method, Apple and Google purchases follow the store's policy, and otherwise you can contact support about unexpected charges.

Our advice: treat membership as non-refundable, start with a month of Basic, and upgrade only once you know you'll use it. Also note that if a friend you referred for Circuit Crew gets a refund, your rewards are taken back.

The old Standard and Platinum plans

Many older articles still describe “Platinum membership at $49.99 a month with WSOP Main Event seats”. That was the plan around 2021. Pokerfuse reports that WSOP+, launched in June 2026, effectively replaced ClubGG's previous membership plans. If you see “Platinum” today, it's almost certainly outdated, even on ClubGG's own Refer a Friend page.

Is it worth it?

Worth buyingIf you want the WSOP qualifiers and Stage events, multi-table on desktop, or Smart HUD and PokerCraft for reviewing your play.
Skip itIf you only play casually in friends' clubs. Running a club involves separate optional purchases, Diamonds and Club Levels; see ClubGG Diamonds.

The events members can play are in WSOP qualifiers, and our overall verdict is in the ClubGG review.

FAQ

Is WSOP+ the same as the old ClubGG Platinum membership?
According to Pokerfuse, WSOP+ launched in mid-June 2026 and effectively replaced ClubGG's previous Standard and Platinum plans. The official membership page now only shows WSOP+ Basic and Premium, although ClubGG's own Refer a Friend page still uses the old Platinum name.
Can I get a refund on ClubGG membership?
The official wording conflicts. Terms of Service §9(b) says WSOP+ Premium memberships are not refundable. The membership FAQ says refund eligibility varies by platform and billing method: Apple and Google purchases follow the store's refund policy, and for purchases made directly in the ClubGG app or through WSOP+ you contact support about unexpected charges.
Can I buy membership on the ClubGG website?
No. The FAQ says membership can't be bought on the web page; you complete the purchase on the membership page inside the ClubGG app. A membership bought through WSOP+ also works on ClubGG if you sign in with the same GG Pass account.
Is ClubGG membership worth it?
It depends on what you want. For the WSOP qualifiers, the Stage ladder or lots of desktop tables, you need it. If you only play in friends' clubs, a free account is enough. Membership doesn't give club chips any value.
How do I cancel auto-renewal?
You can cancel at any time, and benefits run until the end of the current billing period. Apple or Google subscriptions are cancelled in that platform's subscription settings; purchases made in the ClubGG app are managed from the membership page or account settings.
